Participate in the last competitive lacrosse to be played at the Soccerplex EVER !!!
All players must be registered with the Thunder Bay Lacrosse League for the 2010 season.
Application fee = $40 per player
Proceeds to the Thunder Bay Lacrosse League and the Boys & Girls Club.

2 age divisions: 17 & under ( '93, '94, '95, '96, '97)
12 & under ( '98, '99, '00)

All games at the Plex
Teams will be picked by the tournament committee
First 24 players for each age division will be accepted
8 players per team; 7 runners, 1 goalie
Max 3 rep caliber players per team
Division champs will be presented with championship hats
Entry fee includes team jersey for 8 players on each team
Each team requires a coach registered with the Thunder Bay Lacrosse League for the 2010 season.

RULES:
- each team guaranteed 4 round robin games
- games consist of 2 - 15 minute running time periods in the round robin, and 2 - 20 minute periods in the playoffs.
- if round robin games are tied at the end of regulation, shootout will decide the winner
- playoff games tied at the end of regulation will have a 5 minute running time sudden victory period. Should the score remain tied after the 5 minute overtime period, a shootout will decide the winner.
- all shootouts will consist of 3 shooters from each team to begin. If still tied after the first 3 shooters, 1 for 1 sudden victory shootout will continue until there is a winner. All players on each team must get a chance to shoot before there can be any repeat shooters. A coin toss will decide which team shoots first.
- top 2 teams in each division will advance to the championship game
- teams get 3 points for a regulation win, 2 points for a shootout win, 0 points for a loss.
- if teams are tied in the standings at the end of round robin play the winner of the head to head games will be seeded higher or advance. In case of a 3-way tie, head to head will not be used, the goals against divided by goals for + goals against in the games between the 3 tied teams will decide seedings.
- Players must be equiped as per CLA standards. Any player found not to be properly equipped will be removed from the game.
- No Body Contact, this includes crosschecking !!! Stick checking only. Any team assessed a body contact or excessive force penalty will be given a 30 second penalty and the team on the power play will be given 30 seconds to capitalize. Penalized player will not be allowed on the floor until 30 seconds are up. Team on the power play stays on the power play regardless of the number of goals scored. If the team on the power play is penalized, the game will resume 3 on 3 and the penalties will be wiped out but the player must stay off the floor for the full 30 seconds.
- any player assessed a fighting penalty will be removed from the tournament and his/her team will be a runner short for the remainder of the tournament. Goalies assessed a fightning penalty will also be removed from the tournament and one of the team runners must replace him/her.
- there will be faceoffs at the start of the 1st period, 2nd period, and overtime period ONLY. When a goal is scored the scoring team must regroup all 3 players to the centre line, the trailing referee will signal the regroup, after which the scoring team can then pressure the team scored against. The team scored against must retrieve the ball from the net and the 30 second clock for their possession will begin once the ball is retrieved and the referee signals for a reset. In the case of a goalie ball, the 3 attacking players must retreat to the yellow attack line before going back into the offensive zone. Once again, the trailing referee will okay the regroup.
- games will be started at designated times. Teams have 3 minutes to warm up at the start of each game.

Games will begin at 5pm on Friday June 25, continuing on Saturday June 26 and Sunday June 27. The championship games for each division will be played on Sunday June 27.
